Village Hotel Edinburgh

We had a lovely stay at the Village Hotel Edinburgh! It’s a great family-friendly hotel with everything you need right on-site. The indoor pool was a big hit with the kids, and having a Starbucks and a pub right in the lobby made it super convenient for grabbing a quick coffee or relaxing in the evening. The hotel is also in a great location—just a short walk to bus stops that took us easily to top sights like Edinburgh Castle, Victoria Street, and the Scottish Monument. The area felt safe and well-connected, which made exploring the city really easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with good amenities and easy access to Edinburgh’s best attractions.

Familiar with set up and stsndard as been to sister hotel in Glasgow several times.

Our room was lovely, a big comfy bed and very quiet. There was tea and coffee supplied. We both slep so well! The gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were fantastic. We made use of this daily and also really appreciated on our check out we were allowed to stil use the sauna as we had some time before our flight. The staff were super helpful and changing room were clean. Really super stay and we didn't want to leave.

The hotel was handy for us because it's close to the WGH. Easy to find decent parking area. Used the the leisure facility which was pretty good. Food in the bar for dinner and breakfast was ok Considering that there is nothing in the surrounding area.

The hotel was clean, staff welcoming & helpful and we found our rooms to be well presented & adequate for our short 3 night stay. Couple of decor bits needed attention if we were going to be very fussy but they didn't interfere with our stay. The breakfast was very good for a short stay & the bar was nice place to grab a bite or drink after a long day of sight seeing. The location was ok for either jumping on the bus or getting actaxi into the main spots. Overall would highly recommend the Village Hotel.
